This article resulting from the National Research in Development, entitled “Health-promoting communication: strategies for coping with STI, HIV / AIDS and Viral Hepatitis epidemics in a young population”, financed by CNPq within the scope the access of young northerners to health strategies communication and health information. It aims to characterize the accessibility to digital technologies in the state of Amazonas. The methodology, of a descriptive bibliographic nature, collected publications from the last 10 years on technological development in Amazonas. The data analysis describes the internet service available in the State. The results point out the geographical and economic specificities as determinants for the unavailability of internet and accessibility services. Limited access in cities in the interior, with transmission failures and extremely high cost, which reflects in the education process of young people and in the capacity of digital inclusion of these subjects, affecting their status of visibility and social importanceHow to Cite
