This work is the result of a research on “Hybrid education and reader formation: from online to in person”, carried out with students in the 3rd year of high school at a school in the interior of Bahia, and had the general objective of develop the habit from the reading of this class. As for the specific objectives, we sought to choose literary works; indicate the reading for students and discuss ideas and opinions about the stories read. This is a qualitative, bibliographical research with case study characteristics. For data collection, in addition to observation and notes, a questionnaire applied to the students participating in the study is used. The results show that it is possible to develop the habit of reading, through hybrid teaching, through some strategies, including the inverted classroom, discussions after reading and dividing the book into chapters.
