Abstract

Interdisciplinarity is an important pedagogical work proposal for all areas of knowledge and also for Music Education. With that in mind, the present research carried out a survey of articles published between 2005 and 2020, which resulted in a mapping on the topic Interdisciplinarity and Music Education. The general objective is to analyze what has been debated on the subject, making an analysis of the interdisciplinarity theme in the course of its history and how it has been present within the approaches of Music Education. The research methodology was based on a quantitative basis, the technique of bibliographic data collection and, for data analysis, content analysis was used. It was found that research indicates a gradual development of the interdisciplinary proposal in Music Education, from movements that prove the importance of defragmenting the discipline, pushing it more towards collective work, and from a global perspective.
