TECNOLOGIAS DIGITAIS E EDUCAÇÃO EM COMUNIDADES RURAIS: O PROGRAMA EMITEC NO ESTADO DA BAHIA

Abstract

Nowadays, the New Digital Information and Communication Technologies (NTDIC) have been intensifying in the educational scenario, with direct reductions in the production of information, construction of knowledge and, also, in the establishment of new relational links between the subjects of the teaching and learning processes. This article aims to present the partial results of the application of digital technology, in the teaching and learning process, from the analysis of the implementation of the state policy of Ensino Médio com Intermediação Tecnológica (EMITEC), with rural communities in the state of Bahia, having as object of study the Identity Territory of Velho Chico/BA, in the period from 2017 to 2019. This is a qualitative research, carried out through bibliographic research, field and documentary, and also the application of questionnaires to students, teachers and mediators through the Google form. The theoretical contribution is mainly based on Lévy (1999, 2008); Bauman (2007) and Kenski (2003), who contribute to the understanding of concepts about public policies in the educational context, and New Digital Information and Communication Technologies (NTDIC). As a preliminary result, it was found that the EMITEC is configured as an educational public policy of democratization in high school, in the state of Bahia, since its organizational, technological and geographical distribution of localities, promotes positive consequences in the educational process of the rural communities served.
