Abstract
By effectively integrating social relationships with physical therapy, it is possible to promote a comprehensive approach to the health of older adults, improving not only physical functionality but also emotional and social well-being. The central purpose of this study is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the relevance of social relationships for elderly people who receive physiotherapeutic care at CEPAF. The aim is to understand how social groups and their support networks influence the health and quality of life of these individuals. The initial study had a bibliographic and descriptive character, aimed at building and substantiating the theoretical framework. Subsequently, the research will be conducted in a quantitative and qualitative way, aiming to obtain information and results that correspond to the data to be collected. It is extremely important to pay special attention to the weakest elderly people, as there is a risk of falls, therefore, in a future study, it is interesting to carry out a specific approach to preventing falls.
