The paper deals with the analysis of the family of the contemporary period, identifying it as an institute necessarily constitutionalized. For this purpose, several doctrinal definitions about the family will be studied, passing through the examination of its concept according to the phenomenon of constitutionalization of family Law. Thus, it will be possible to demonstrate that the legal existence of the family is directly related to the Constitution, so that any argument that refers to the family must find foundation in constitutional text, given its quality of constitutionalized entity assumed in the contemporary period.Downloads
