Abstract

The advent of digital transformation is a challenge for managers of digital innovation that can be a challenge for public managers. This article focuses on examining the perspectives of Blockchain application in local public administration. It is justified by investigating the perspectives of the application of this technology in the management of municipal governance. With the study, an important influence of the new existing technological mechanisms for the viability of the control of the municipal public administration is evidenced, due to the difficulty of adopting practices of transparency when compared to the States. Therefore, due to less municipal complexity, the study demonstrates the use of Blockchain as a local governance strategy.
