This article, based on a bibliographical review and on a field study, aims to gather information about the influence of e-commerce on society, highlighting its importance nowadays. The advantages and disadvantages of e-commerce and its main concepts were also pointed out. The results of the analysis indicate that some people continue not trusting the internet when they want to purchase something. Through this work it may be concluded that the online trade needs better security actions, due to the increased number of people who look for this kind of shopping.Downloads
