Abstract

Financial education is a powerful tool, which, when developed correctly, empowers people for economic growth and helps control their financial future, so financial education plays a fundamental role in society as a whole. The question that guided this research was: What are the ways to implement financial education in the basic education school environment, in order to try to overcome the lack and lack of knowledge in school society on the subject? Therefore, the central objective was to propose viable strategies for the effective implementation of financial education in schools. This topic is on the rise due to the need to train conscious and integrated citizens in subjects that determine their entire trajectory. To achieve this, the introduction of the topic has the help of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC). This research is justified by the need to recognize the importance of knowledge about financial education, as from then on, basic education students will be able to perceive the harm caused by its absence, as well as becoming disseminators of this in their homes.

Diego Silva Souza, Professor da Universidade Tiradentes

Doutorando em Ciências da Propriedade Intelectual pelo PPGPI-UFS, Mestre em Ciências Ambientais pelo PROF-CIAMB UFS (2018), Graduado em Engenharia Civil pela Universidade Tiradentes (2017), Graduado em Ciências Contábeis pela Universidade Tiradentes (2009), possui Especialização latu sensu em: Matemática Financeira e Estatística (2022) , Gestão de Recursos Hídricos e Meio Ambiente (2021), e em Gestão Fiscal e Planejamento Tributário (2011). Atualmente é Professor da Universidade Tiradentes lotado na Coordenação de Ciências Contábeis, membro do Núcleo Docente Estruturante dos Cursos de Ciências Contábeis (Presencial e EAD) e Coordenador Pedagógico de Ciências Contábeis (Presencial e EAD).
