Abstract

The black Brazilian population, over the years, has been suffering the consequences of a historical process of inhuman social inequality, a consequence of the evils of slavery. The research proposes to answer the following question: how can SDG nº 10 of the UN 2030 Agenda be legally decisive to guarantee true citizenship for blacks in Brazil and help in the fight against social inequality? The answer to the proposed question, the present work has as general objective to understand the historical process of social inequality of the black person in Brazil and its socio-juridical reflexes, and as a specific objective, it seeks to analyze the proposal of Development Goal 10 of the UN 2030 Agenda to the reduction of social inequality with the black person in Brazil. Through a qualitative-quantitative investigation, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, using the bibliographic method, with access to digital information, it is intended to present the theoretical solidity necessary for the development of the proposed objectives for the investigation. The result shows that the social development indices to combat inequality that affects, mainly, the black population, are low compared to those of developing countries. It is conclusive that the United Nations (UN) 2030 agenda adopted seventeen measures to be taken by all the countries involved, naming them as "Sustainable Development Goals" and, in this proposal, Brazil must minimize the harmful effects of inequality . that positively affects the black population, as a practice for the necessary citizen inclusion.
