O REFLEXO DA PANDEMIA NA MOBILIDADE URBANA: UMA ANÁLISE SOBRE O USO DOS MODAIS DE TRANSPORTE NO MUNICÍPIO DE ARACAJU/SE
Abstract
Although nowadays it may be easy to find several studies on urban mobility, be it on a local or global scale of analytical level, when the pandemic scenario come across, it is notorious and understandable that there is not a lot about it. This research has been developed to improve the knowledge about the impacts caused on urban mobility in the municipality of Aracaju/SE, in virtue of the pandemic. From the knowledge gained as concerns urban mobility, a research was conducted where people were interviewed, following the WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines, a quantitative of 140 people, among them 71 students/interns and 69 workers. The authors analysed the changeovers of locomotion ordinaring and the change in the way of relating with the city and the urban space in the different types of citizens, be they, employees, unemployed, students, low-income, high income, from different age groups. Cross-checking the research data collected, it was possible to attach the output-frequency by gender, and the relationship with the streets, the preferential modals by age group, and type of economic activity with the output-frequency and their respective modals, besides of achieve to counter with COVID-19 legacy data statistics. The weighting done above on analysis results exposes which, the isolation and social withdrawal needed in the current scenario of pandemic, resulted in a considerable increase in the car use and individuals transportation modals.
