Abstract

In recent times the use of various types of waste oils in frying has become increasingly as a method of food preparation quick and easy. Therefore we must pay attention to the fact that the improper disposal of oil in the environment. This article aims to demonstrate some chemical routes used for recycling and reuse of waste oils. Separate collection of waste oils is necessary to minimize environmental impacts, and contribute to the economy of natural resources. It is worth noting the applicability in the areas of biodiesel production from biomass, since it reduces the high dependence on oil industry that is characterized by being a source of non-renewable energy in the sectors of production resins applied paints and varnishes and in manufacturing soaps.
