Abstract

This paper shows that the oil spill in Brazil decreased because of greater control of environmental issues and companies in the industry. However, the imminent danger of spills is still something that should be carefully noted, many procedures are designed not only to prevent accidents but also procedures that leaks if they are contained quickly and effectively. It is appropriate to this work through research on innovative ideas, and the way the importance of knowledge and creativity benefits from the solutions offered by science applied to the activities of the oil industry due to the means for the use of popcorn at the spill contingency plan oil is through simulation of containment of the oil spill at sea,the popcorn floats, does not absorb water quickly, is biodegradable and can be easily identified on the high seas, making it an excellent choice for the tests.
