BALANCED SCORECARD: UMA ADAPTAÇÃO NA ADMINISTRAÇÃO PÚBLICA
Abstract
It is known that the biggest challenge facing the Brazilian public sector is of a managerial nature. For this reason, over the last few decades, public administration has undergone many changes, starting with the change from the bureaucratic model, to a new model of public management, aimed at results, which places the necessary bureaucracy at the service of the citizen in a transparent, participatory and inductive way of social control, and demanding that the Brazilian Public Administration measure its performance in a systematic and structured manner. For that, it is necessary to provide Brazilian public organizations with a model for evaluating organizational performance that contributes to making the State more agile, transparent and focused on results that add value to society. And with this in mind, precisely because BSC propagates this alignment between accounting and financial indicators with strategic performance, this management model has been adopted by some companies and public agencies as an important tool, since it helps to exercise managerial control. in a more determined way and in line with strategic guidelines.Downloads
