This article presents discussions about the representations of the state of Espírito Santo in the scene of the soap opera A Dona do Pedaço (2019). Initially, a group of fifty-three students living in the region were questioned about the fragment of the narrative. Then, the notes were analyzed using the categories “attitude”, “information” and “field of representation” proposed by Moscovici (1978). Finally, the themes were deepened with Hooks (2019) and her reflection about representation of the other; “deterritorialization” with Deleuze and Guattari (2011) and “capixabismo” with Simonetti Júnior (2002). The traits exposed are “accent”, “criminality”, “religiosity”, “tradition” and “conduct”.
