Abstract

This article brings a reflection about the concepts of health and Canguilhem disease (2009) applied to the Estamira documentary (2004). Inquiring yourself at what point Estamira exceeds the tenuous line between illness and health, between the normal or pathological. Aiming to explore the definitions presented by Canguilhem (2009) through the documentary, thus showing the description of the disease, cure, and health relating these concepts with Estamira and proposing a reflection about a medical-clinical vision of the psychodiagnostic and the treatment psycho-pathology. This problematizations regarding limits among the normal and pathological are of paramount importance because one lives in a demarcated society by the medical-clinical prism of what is health and disease.
