Abstract

This article is a work resulting from the search analysis in Scientific Initiation (SI), at Centro Universitário Tiradentes - UNIT / AL, which was developed between the years 2018 and 2019, with two researchers and an advisor teacher. The SI process is for the student, a moment that in addition to helping with personal development, also develops scientific understandings, expanding their knowledge in specific areas. The article aims to describe the importance of CI, analyzing its impacts on academic life and on society itself, with a narrative literature review for the construction of the article. The historical character and the social usefulness of this scientific knowledge must support new forms of relationships, reflections, productions that are always in line with discussions that promote a critical and dignified thinking to everyone who may be involved during the process.
