CONSEQUÊNCIAS DA COVID-19 PARA SAÚDE MENTAL EM PROFISSIONAIS DE SAÚDE DA LINHA DE FRENTE
Abstract
The present study aims to make an observation in the framework of frontline health professionals in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This systematic review showed a change in the routine of these professionals, with an increase in hours worked, an increase in the number of infected patients, bringing emotional and physical insecurity. It is relevant to mention that such situations brought feelings of anxiety, fear, psychosomatic symptoms to the professionals, factors that directly interfere in their personal life with their family and friends. The methodology used sought to search for articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish published from 2019 on in the PubMed and Virtual Health Library databases with the described COVID-19, mental health, health personnel, intensive care unit. 13 articles were selected. According to the survey, it is understood that therapeutic follow-up and improvements in working conditions are essential, in order to provide security and tranquility for front-line health professionals.
