O USO DA REALIDADE VIRTUAL COMO FERRAMENTA DE INOVAÇÃO PARA REABILITAÇÃO DE PACIENTES COM DOENÇA DE PARKINSON: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA

Résumé

A Doença de Parkinson (DP) é uma desordem degenerativa que compromete o controle postural e a mobilidade, caracterizada por sintomas relacionados com o movimento, como bradicinesia, discinesia, rigidez e tremores e pode ter um forte impacto na qualidade de vida dos pacientes, especialmente em seus estágios mais avançados. O seu tratamento está relacionado ao uso de fármacos e fisioterapia. A fisioterapia prioriza a execução de tarefas motoras isoladas em todas as fases da doença, principalmente quando os pacientes estão nos estágios moderados e avançados. Uma das ferramentas da fisioterapia no tratamento da DP é a chamada realidade virtual, por meio de vídeo games, que exigem uma interação simultânea para desenvolver a capacidade física, visual, auditiva, cognitiva, psicológica e estratégias sociais na execução das atividades para um melhor desempenho funcional, principalmente na marcha. O objetivo desta revisão foi verificar a efetividade do tratamento por meio da realidade virtual na melhora do desempenho motor de pacientes portadores da doença de Parkinson. Dez artigos foram lidos na íntegra, porém apenas 4 artigos preencheram os critérios de inclusão. Além dos 4 ensaios clínicos, os demais apresentados, relataram melhora em todos os pacientes que usaram a realidade virtual no tratamento para a doença de Parkinson.
