OFICINA DE PRODUÇÃO DE PODCASTS: UM RECURSO DIDÁTICO-PEDAGÓGICO PARA O ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS E BIOLOGIA
Abstract
The use of technological resources, such as podcasts, are conducive to the dynamization of the teaching and learning process of Science and Biology. This research aimed to appreciate the didactic-pedagogical potential of podcasts for the teaching of Science and Biology, through a podcast production workshop with teachers and undergraduate students in the area of Biological Sciences. The present work is based on the qualitative-quantitative research methodology of an exploratory and descriptive nature. Therefore, a virtual workshop for the production of podcasts was developed, entitled "Podcasts and the Teaching of Science and Biology" with the participation of 15 undergraduate students in Biological Sciences - Licentiate and two teachers of Science and Biology. As a possibility for teachers and undergraduates to evaluate aspects of the workshop and make suggestions, a Satisfaction Survey was carried out containing open and closed questions through the Google Forms digital platform. It was observed that 15 participants responded that they were completely satisfied with the sufficiency of the workload of the workshop and with regard to the didactics used in the workshop, 16 participants showed to be totally satisfied, as well as 90% of the participants answered that they intend to use Podcasts for the elaboration of classes. When asked if they would recommend the workshop to professional colleagues, 100% of the workshop participants answered yes. It is concluded that the production of podcasts is a resource that makes it possible to obtain essential digital skills for today's citizen, as well as providing an opportunity to understand the objects of knowledge of Science and Biology in a dynamic way.
